We first came to St Croix in October of 2023 and I did a few discovery dives with Cane Dive Shop and I was hooked. We finally made it back so I could get open water certified. There was no where else I wanted to go besides Came Bay Dive Shop. Jay was is an amazing instructor/dive master. He was very patient and put me at ease. Two days after I was certified I did a 2 tank wall dive with him as well. I was too excited and forgot my go pro both times and he was kind enough to send me the ones he took. Thank you for everything Jay and the rest of Cane Bay Dive Shop.

One of the best snorkeling experiences!! They were extremely reasonable and gave fantastic tips on snorkeling the pier at Fredericksted. It was one of the best parts of our trip! We saw turtles, rays, barracuda and more.

Went on a discover scuba, highly recommend this. I was a little nervous at first but everything was explained very clearly by our guides and that gave me the confidence to go and explore with them. Saw plenty of turtles, rays, and other interesting ocean critters. Enjoyed it so much I've booked to get my dive certification when I'm back home.

First time diving with Cane Bay Divers. Jay Hantge set up our entire dive week well before our trip and made it seamless. Jay was our Dive Master and is the Pro! He kept us at ease and was a true leader. Saw so much sea life and every dive was awesome. The whole crew was awesome and would definitely come back and Cane Bay Dive Shop would be my go to again!

So glad I had my first scuba experience here! Carol was my instructor and she was AMAZING. so patient with me and really calmed my nerves. I couldn’t recommend this shop or her enough! I was terrified and she got me to face my fears and just do it anyways and we saw tons of cool stuff. Also got a super cute ornament from them and everyone who worked there was so nice and accommodating. Carol you’re awesome 🩷

This is our third year diving with Cane Bay Dive Shop! From reservations, rental gear, the fantastic crew, and fabulous dive sites…they are the best!!! We always have the best of times with this group!!!! Sad to be headed back home but definitely can’t wait for our next trip with your crew!!!!

We took a discovery dive with Jay on a shore tour out of Can Bay. Jay was super patient with my lady who was struggling with the skills before our dive. He showed her how to do each several times until she was completely comfortable and cleared all 3 skills requirements. Then we dove and he was super attentive and made our first experience so awesome that we took another discovery dive at the pier 3 days later. At the pier Jay showed us so many different species, led us out and made our trip unforgettable. We had such a good time that we are both planning to get open water certified as soon as we get home. I don't think another instructor would have made our first dive so great and comfy that we would end up doing another. I can't recommend Jay enough for an instructor and if you get put with Jay you're in luck and great hands! Super cool dude with a super great vibe. Thanks to Jay we fell in love with scuba diving and will now seek vacation destinations where diving is the key element of it. Hoping to do the confined water sessions at home and then come back to Cane Bay diving to finish our open water cert w Jay in the ocean. Thanks to Cane Bay diving for hiring passionate instructors who go above and beyond to make sure people have an a1 experience on their first dives and fall in love with all that is scuba diving! 10/10 for Jay and the Cane Bay dive shop. We booked this excursion through Royal Caribbean which I’m glad we did or else we wouldn’t have had the experience we had. We did the two tank wreck dives and had a great time with the crew and group of people we dove with.

Our captain was - Greg. Crew - John and Jenyka. 11 divers including ourselves. Our first dive was to the Shallow Wrecks at Butlers Bay. Our second was to Sprat Hall. Both dives were very fun. We felt very comfortable and safe diving with them. They were very knowledgeable, patient and knew all the great spots. We saw sea turtles, awesome fish, rays, sunken wrecks, eel, and lots of other neat things. Suzanne’s fresh batch of snickerdoodle cookies and pineapple were a nice treat for after our first dive. We are glad we booked the tour with this company. They were awesome. Hopefully we can dive with them again when we get back out to St. Croix.

While we were staying in Frederiksted we were able to rent snorkel gear here for two days to do our own snorkeling adventures! One day for two people, complete gear, was $36 in December 2023. The workers and place was overall great and a good rental experience. When we went to return our gear they were closed for Christmas Carnival and the workers in Molly’s were kind enough to take it and hold it until Cane Bay reopened.

Ken, Greg, Carol, Jason, and Lauren were amazing! We booked four or five weeks ahead of time, and when we showed up, we were the only two people that were booked the first day The Dive shop did the right thing and took us out anyway. Can’t say enough about the ability and accommodating attitude of the entire crew both days. They dove to our abilities, kept everything safe and showed us things we never would’ve seen! The sharks were amazing, as were the turtles, which were the two highlights of the dives. We will use the shop again!

We spent a week with Ken, Mo, Carol, John, Jason on the Ibis, they were awesome, full of energy, knowledgeable, knew the best spots to find wildlife, knew where to find the best food, they assembled our scuba gear for us and showed us Caribbean hospitality. I wouldn’t go with any other dive shop. The cookies were absolutely magnificent thanks to Susan, Cole, Al, Thank you for a great week!

Cane Bay Dive Shop in Frederiksted St Croix USVI is located on the west end of the island. When I got to St Croix, I started inquiring about local dive shops and more than on had good reviews. So, I drove around checking them out. I was sold when I went to the Salt River Marina and saw the Ibis, the dive boat belonging to Cane Bay Dives. The boat was clean, well organized, with nice amenities at a centrally located area on the island.
I began diving on the Ibis and felt well cared for by the competent crew including Captain Ken, dive masters Jason, John, and Ken (from Alabama), and Bill Hein the photographer and diver master.
After 20+ dives I am still glad that I chose Cane Bay.
Cane Bay Dive Shop also has a shop with equipment and tank rentals, as well as sales. They also offer shore dives, night dives, and various certification courses.
I readily recommend Cane Bay Dive Shop and the Ibis.
